Photos, the photo editor and video
How many photos you can add, how to blur your number plate, crop and enhance, and adding a video.
Good photos sell cars. You can add up to 20 photos and one short video to each listing.
Adding photos
- Any common photo format works, including iPhone HEIC photos, up to 12 MB each.
- On a phone, choose Take photo or Choose from gallery. On a computer, drag photos onto the page or choose them, then select Upload.
- You need at least 1 photo; we recommend 5 or more.
- Photos are compressed on your device before upload, and location and camera details are removed before anyone sees them.
For each photo you can Set as main photo (the one shown in search results), reorder it, add it to the slideshow, delete it, or Edit photo.
The photo editor

| Adjust | Auto enhance in one tap, or set exposure, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation, warmth and sharpness yourself. |
| Crop & rotate | Crop freely or to Original, 4:3, 16:9 or Square, and rotate left or right. |
| Blur | Drag a box across the number plate to blur it. Add more boxes, angle them, or remove them all. |
Use Compare to check your changes against the original, then Save photo.
Blur your number plate
Open the photo with Edit photo, choose the Blur tab and drag across the plate. If the plate is at an angle, rotate the box to match. Do this for every photo where the plate can be read.
Adding a video
One video per listing: MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 100 MB and 3 minutes long. The video is shown to buyers on the Plus package and above.
