Leads and messages
Working buyer enquiries in the Leads CRM and Messages.
Every enquiry about your stock arrives in the Leads CRM and in Messages.
The Leads CRM
Each lead shows the buyer, the car and its status. From a lead you can Open chat, see Full details, Email Buyer, or Call when the buyer left a number. Guest buyers are labelled Guest enquiry; your replies reach them by email.
| Lead status | Set when |
|---|---|
| New | The enquiry has arrived and nobody has opened it. |
| Read | You opened the conversation. |
| Replied | You sent a message. |
| Closed | You closed the conversation in Messages. A new message from the buyer reopens it. |
Replying
Reply in Messages for a live chat with the buyer, or from the lead’s details page with Send Message. Buyers never see your account email address.
