Signing in and creating an account

Cars61 does not use passwords. To sign in, you enter your email address and we email you a 6-digit code. If you do not have an account yet, the same steps create one.

1. Open the sign-in page

   Select Sign in at the top of any page, or go to /account/login.

2. Enter your email address

   Type your email address and select Continue with email. Tick Keep me signed in to stay signed in on this device for 30 days.

3. Enter the code from your email

   We send a 6-digit code. Enter it on the Check your email page and select Verify and sign in. Each code works once and expires after 10 minutes. If it does not arrive, check your junk folder, then use Resend code.

4. New account? Tell us your name

   The first time you sign in we ask What should we call you?. Enter your first and last name. Signing in with a code also confirms your email address.

Signing in with Google

Where it is offered, Continue with Google signs you in with your Google account instead of a code.
