Meet in a public place or at your home with somebody else present. Never let a buyer test-drive alone, and check their licence first.
Taking payment
Wait until funds have cleared in your account before you hand over the car and the papers. Bank transfer receipts and cheques can be faked.

Do not put your phone number or address in the listing description — the enquiry system exists so you do not have to.
